The President of the school, General Liu, invited the President of the Alumni Association and the Chairman of the Board of Directors to attend the ceremony of “Flag Guard and Transfer of Command to Cadets” of the 113th class of the Naval Academy. The guests of honor also included the President of the Technical School, Mr. Kuo, the President of the C.C.C. Preparatory School, Mr. Chen, the Deputy Director of the Battle Department Factory, Colonel Huang, and the Director of the Flag and Sword Repair of the Left Branch, Colonel Tsao. The ceremony was simple but solemn; “a flag” and “a sword” represent “passing on the flame” and “delivery of responsibility”. Seeing the younger students in high spirits and sweating; in the sunny campus, the snow-white military uniforms and the resolute and unshakable figures showed us the hope of the Navy. This is the “Anchor Spirit” of the Navy officers, which is passed on from generation to generation. I wish all the students in the school will be diligent and practical in their studies, develop their leadership qualities and abilities, and become the first-class talents of the Navy in the future.
